UpdraftPlus 1.9.44 has just been released, with two minor tweaks.

Firstly, a number of incomplete translations have been added. This is because after WordPress 4.1 is released (next week, it is expected), the WordPress plugins directory will begin showing users who search for new plugins results that take into account the available translations. Until now, we have not released new translations (from our much-appreciated translators, who do a great service for their fellow mother-tongue speakers) until they have reached 100%. But with the new policy of the plugins directory, this will penalise UpdraftPlus and prevent potential users from finding it.

Secondly, a small bug crept into last week’s release of 1.9.40 which could prevent the completion of backups on very large sites on low-resource webservers. This does not seem to have affected many people (it was reported twice, from around 60,000 downloads of the new release), but it is a real bug, so we recommend that everybody updates as soon as they can.

As with the previous releases, this version has been tested with and is compatible with the upcoming WordPress 4.1.
