    Hi,

I’m using the UpdraftPlus on quite a few pages, but I’m running into the issue that I need to renew the token AKA link up each site with google over and over, within a short time frame (weekly)

Basically I authenticate the site, backup is running, and then after I week when I update a plugin or similar I see that it has the error “Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.”

Is there anyway to extend the lifetime of this token or otherwise not need to renew it every week?

    Hi,

The Google Drive token should not require renewing in this manner.

Are you connecting your sites to Google Drive through a single Google Project? This has been known to cause authentication issues in the past.

    Hi David,

Yes, I have a single project that contains the 70 sites that has updraft on them.

Is there a limit on how many that can run in a single project? as I assume the fix for now is to break it down into smaller groups of sites?

    Hi,

There isn’t any hard limit on the number of sites that can run on a single project.
I would recommend splitting the sites between 7-10 projects if possible.

    Best Wishes,
