Hello,
I have the migrator add-on. Trying to move the WP site to a new server. Short story – I get a page cannot be displayed. I’m 100% sure it’s database related. If I go and remove the database and add a blank database back I get the clean site to show back up. This is the exact error I was experiencing prior to purchasing the add-on. I think I burned through enough hours at this so I better ask for some help.
What would you need from me to troubleshoot this? I have tried going from http://www.nameofsite.org to ww2 and http://www.nameofsite.org and both ways give me grief.
I’ve also tried both the replace and not replace when offered that choice.

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the restoration log?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file as an attachment or copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )Best Wishes,

I never even got a rejection email!
Here is what I wrote several days ago:
I’ve been traveling and just getting back. Here is the latest log. I have tried several more times to no avail.
August 17, 2018 at 1:54 pm #299838admin437ParticipantI stand corrected. Bounced email went to spam.
August 17, 2018 at 5:24 pm #299915Dee NutbourneModeratorHi,
Apologies for the inconvenience.
From the log, it appears that there were no errors in the restoration process itself.
After restoring, are you able to access WP Admin?
If so, it may be a permalink issue. Please could you try re-saving your permalinks after the restoration? If not, please could you send us a screenshot of what you see?
You can use a service such as snag.gy to upload the screenshot.Best Wishes,
David NAugust 17, 2018 at 6:04 pm #299926admin437ParticipantIt just shows this when I try any php file: This page isn’t working
frontlinefaithproject.org is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500How can I change the permalink settings if I can’t access wp-admin?
The permalink structure should be the same but I am migrating this from apache to nginx.
August 19, 2018 at 1:22 pm #300159admin437ParticipantOnce I delete the database and recreate it I can run the restore again. This time I changed the permalinks structure before restoring the database.
Same issue. Log file looks the same as above.
August 19, 2018 at 2:35 pm #300171admin437ParticipantI think I am good now. I put it into debug mode and found a php issue in a plugin.
