I would also like to use UpdraftPlus with Amazon Drive.

“With our updated RESTful API and SDKs for Android and iOS, Amazon Drive is moving to an invite-only developer offering to ensure we can provide a consistently viable service available for supported use-cases.” – https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/experience/cloud-drive/content/developer-guide . It’s still the case that Amazon don’t want PHP developers (and hence provide no PHP SDK) or server applications to use Drive. It’s for media and documents, not arbitrary data. We’re not going to try to fight against Amazon. As soon as a significant number of people start storing stuff in Drive that Amazon want in S3, they’ll shut it off, and all the work would be wasted.
