Don’t reset backup schedule when making other changes in the Settings panel.

I have UpdraftPlus set to make an hourly backup of my database and put it on DropBox.

However, if I go into Settings and make another change, it affects the schedule of these hourly backups. For example, if when I first set up the hourly backups, it was 10:30 and I set UpdraftPlus to start the hourly backups at 11:10, it will make backups at 10 minutes after the hour from then on out.

So far so good. But if I go into Settings say several months later and at 15:00 change a different setting, for example I change the encryption phrase or change the email to send the reports to, the hourly backups stop and don’t start until the next day at 11:10.

Since I didn’t make any changes to the backup schedule, UpdraftPlus should keep running the backup schedule as it was doing. It shouldn’t think, oh, the next time they want a back up is the next 11:10. If I make the change at 15:00, it should still do the 15:10 backup, the 16:10 backup, and so on. It’s a bit confusing to have the hourly backups stop because I made another change.

To keep the hourly backups happening at 10 after the hour when I make another Settings change, I need to look at the time, and change the hourly backups to start at 10 minutes after whatever the next hour is. If I don’t do that, the hourly backups stop until it comes to 10 minutes after whatever hour is in the Settings.
