We have paid for the full package, mainly to get email alerts only when there has been an error.

However we are still getting alerts on a couple of websites do to a plugin that makes CAPTCHA images that probably are made without the right read ACLs for whatever user UpdraftPlus is using when making the backups.

This is the sort of error we’re getting:

    Warnings
uploads/wpcf7_captcha/1410966795.txt: unreadable file – could not be backed up

These files don’t need to be backed up anyway, so how do I exclude the /wpcf7_captcha directory?

In the UpdraftPlus settings, under ‘Include in files backup’, there are three Exclude boxes, but the differences between the three are not clear.

Currently this is in the first one:

    backup*,*backups,backwpup*,wpcf7_captcha/*

The second one is empty and this is in the third:

    upgrade,cache,updraft,backup*,*backups

What and where should I add to exclude /wpcf7_captcha ?

    Thanks.

    Hi Peter,

Enter “wpcf7_captcha” in the exclude option under “uploads”.
