Backups Not Working – PHP Event error

My backups are showing as complete in WordPress, but the files are not showing up on Google Drive. This process has been working for over a year and stopped this past week. The log file has this error –

This is a problem caused by WP-Mail-SMTP; the authors of that plugin have a fixed planned: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflict-with-wp-mail-smtp/
