    Hello. Can this plugin run in the background? by that I mean, can I safely close my tab while backup is in progress?

    Hi Melanie,

    Yes, you do not need to keep the window open for a backup to run. After being triggered, manual backups or scheduled backups will continue to run.

    As long as the site is receiving visitors, the backup should run with no issues.
