I followed your setup page carefully here:

Configuring Backblaze Cloud Storage access in UpdraftPlus

But when I test the Backblaze setting I get this message:

Backblaze settings test result: Failed: Error when attempting to setup Backblaze access (please check your credentials): (401, Exception) (line: 117, file: /homepages/11/d548422801/htdocs/clickandbuilds/HooplaSheetMusic/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Backblaze/CurlClient.php)

    I am running Version 2.16.57.1

    Can you help?

    Many thanks,

    Christian

    Hi,

When you create a new application key, you will be shown the KeyId, KeyName and applicationKey. The applicationKey is shown only once.

In UpdraftPlus, these map to the following settings:
Application key – applicationKey that was generated
Bucket application key ID – keyID for the app
The ‘Account ID’ setting should be set to your Master Application Key’s ‘KeyID’.
The master application KeyID is the same as your account ID (The Backblaze portal used to show a link to display the account ID, but this appears to have been removed).

Please let me know if you encounter any further issues.

    Regards,
    Bryle

Many thanks, now working, though this setup is pretty tortuous. It involved experimentation and guess-work to get it working. I think the problem is mostly on the Backblaze side, though.

Site now seems to be backing up, so grateful for your help.

    Thanks again,

    Christian
