Hi,
Trying to transfer an old WordPress site (3.9) to UpdraftClone for upgrade testing. Getting a Error: Caught exception: 422, Message: The image you specified is not available in the selected region, you can transfer it to this region from the images pages. Tried both US regions, and both failed with the same error. Any ideas?July 22, 2019 at 9:49 pm #414260jkimmickParticipantBTW – latest UpdraftPlus Version: 2.16.15.24 running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS…
July 22, 2019 at 9:51 pm #414261udadminKeymasterSorry about that; a temporary fault at this end. Please try again now.
July 22, 2019 at 10:04 pm #414262jkimmickParticipantDid get further this time, but received a:
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 20001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
Should have open 80/443 through our perimeter but will check.
July 22, 2019 at 10:11 pm #414266jkimmickParticipantJust tried switching to NY and it worked (so far!). SF gave the error above.
July 22, 2019 at 10:50 pm #414267jkimmickParticipantClone created but has been at the ‘waiting to receive site data’ stage for some time.
July 22, 2019 at 10:55 pm #414268jkimmickParticipantWhen I use curl from the source host to the https address of my clone system I do receive data back so there looks like there is connectivity. I’ll let this run a bit and see if the transfer of data completes or errors out.
July 23, 2019 at 5:32 pm #414604jkimmickParticipantNo good. Site creates in updraft plus but then just waits for data. Does anyone know if this is a push or a pull data transfer? I can curl the address from the system to my clone, so 80/443 seem open. Here is the log:
0069.608 (0) Requesting upload of the files that have not yet been successfully uploaded (10)
0069.616 (0) Cloud backup selection (1/1): remotesend with instance (1/1) (last)
0069.617 (0) Beginning dispatch of backup to remote (remotesend)
0070.212 (0) UpdraftClone migration information not found (probably still provisioning): will poll again in 60
0070.217 (0) Rescheduling resumption 1: moving to 100 seconds from now (1563902363)Any ideas on the problem?
July 24, 2019 at 3:26 pm #414959Bryle CroduaModeratorHi,
Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb save your settings and run a new process.
Do you still get the same issue?
Regards,

Tried this and clone creation failed at the same point. When I look at the log I see Remotesend chunks uploading, but also see:181.980 (1) remotesend: backup_2019-07-24-2210_xxxxxxxxxxxx-db.gz: existing size: 0
Which seems a little weird. Did see these warnings as well.
4930.128 (1) [Warning] Your website is visited infrequently and UpdraftPlus is not getting the resources it hoped for; please read this page: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/why-am-i-getting-warnings-about-my-site-not-having-enough-visitors/
5183.609 (1) The backup apparently succeeded (with warnings) and is now complete. Your clone will now deploy this data to re-create your site.
Looks like this was the only warning.
July 24, 2019 at 11:52 pm #415118jkimmickParticipantHi,
Just completed! :-) Received an email saying the site is up. Don’t know if anyone intervened or if things just needed an afternoon. -
