Clicking on the UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore plugin update version link on the WordPress Updates page only shows a description of the plugin and not the actual change log info.

    UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
You have version 1.8.8.13 installed. Update to 1.8.12.14. View version 1.8.12.14 details.

    Hi Karim,

The up-to-date changelog is always here: https://updraftplus.com/changelog/

Note that what’s shown in the WP dashboard plugin description does not come from a plugin itself, but depends on the updates server that is making updates available.,

    Hi David,

I got it now… the changelog only shows major releases where as we get the version number in wordpress which contain minor releases as well, that is what was creating confusion.

    Thanks

    Hi Karim,

Not quite… the last element in the version number simply indicates the number of add-ons. In the case of UpdraftPlus Premium (which has all of them), this is presently 14. This is simply a scheme to enable peoples’ upgrades to work smoothly if they move from 0 to 1, or 1 to 2, etc., addons.
