I’m trying to clone one of my sites so that I can troubleshoot a problem I’m having but the backup for the clone keeps stalling out. I’ve tried reducing the “split” setting to 50mb but it didn’t resolve my issue. Please let me know what you need from me to try and resolve this issue. Thank you!

Could you reduce the split archive size down to 25mb?
Also, please temporarily deactivate any caching or security plugins and attempt a new clone.

BryleAugust 31, 2021 at 1:40 pm #1214901Brooke ThompsonParticipantI did that and it worked but I wasn’t able to login to the clone because I usually login through my host and not through the wordpress login. I now have the ability to log in through the wordpress login but whenever I try to create a new clone, it stalls out again even though the settings that worked initially are still there.

You will need to login using your username and password to your clone. You can reset the password for your clone.
On your other clone, can you let me know at which step of the clone process are you stuck? Please send us a screenshot. Upload the file in a cloud storage as you can’t attach a file here.

The log shows it is still running on UpdraftPlus version 2.16.21.1? Can you confirm if this is correct? If yes, pleaes update to latest version 2.16.61.x.
Upon checking the log I also see this “4197.062 (10) The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature). List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).”
This usually means that your server disk space is already full. Please check and clear a lot of space.Thanks,
