    2 of my websites that I use UpDraft Plus to run automated backups has continuously been producing the same errors every time an automated backup is schedule to run. I will get an email like below. Looking for help to fix these errors.

    Latest status:
    The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully
    Contains:
    Incomplete
    Errors / warnings:
    1 errors, 0 warnings
    Errors
    • The backup is being aborted for a repeated failure to progress.

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.

    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi Lyse,
    I’m sorry to hear that.
    What worked for me is I had to upgrade my PHP version on the hosting server.
    Then under Expert Settings, update Split Archives every 100M. (I think 400 or 500 is the default)

    Thank you so much Michelle for the quick response.
    I am at the latest version of PHP with WP Engine, but before I ask them to make the suggested changes, I’ll await feedback from the plugin development team.
