My quota in Updraft Vault is running out, and I need to clear some old backup files. Right now, the only way to do this is to delete the files one by one, which is tremendously slow and tedious. Is there a way to delete in bulk?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

You can delete the backups from your website. Just go to UpdraftPlus “Backup/Restore” tab, select the backup you want to delete by ticking the checkbox.

    Hello Bryle,

I’ve set my sites to retain only two previous sets of backups at any one time. There’s no such option for Updraft Vault. So, the only way I can delete the older backup sets at Updraft Vault is to log in to updraftplus.com and delete the files, one-by-one.

Is there a way to bulk delete files inside Updraft Vault?

    Hi,

You can select the backups you want to delete as you see in this img – https://prnt.sc/ofu3op

If you then click on the delete button, you should also see this pop-up box https://prnt.sc/ofu48f
It will ask you if you also want to delete the backups on your remote storage. You just need to deselect the checkbox so only backups stored on your local server are deleted.

    Regards,
    Bryle
