Hello,
I just purchased the premium plugin and right away have found several issues that frustrate me. Here are some features / fixes that I think would go a long way to making this plugin more user friendly.
1. Please Add an “Up One Level” link in the directory browser of Directory Exclusions.
As a user, I would like to be able to exclude files outside of the uploads directory, so that I can exclude files in the web root directory, for example. Just like the “Any other file/directory on your server that you wish to backup” feature,
the exclusions feature should let the user navigate up one level to the root directory. (For me all I see is the uploads directory contents.)2. Please Change Extensions to “Ends With” in Exclusions.
As a user, I would like to be able to exclude files that end in any string I want so that I can exclude files like _wpsnapshot.zip, for example. But I get an error that that is not a valid extension. I don’t want to exclude all zip files, so file extensions is not useful in this case.3. Or maybe just add “Contains” to Exclusions.
As a user, I would like to be able to exclude files that contain any string I want.4. On the website, please add submenu items for Orders and Licenses under My Account.
As a user, I want to quickly and easily find my license info and order number without having to read through page text to follow links like “Track your purchases and payment details here” on the My Purchases page. In fact, why not combine Orders, Purchases and Licenses into one page?5. Please show the size of each backup in Existing Backups
As a user, I want to know how big each backup is so that I can decide which ones to download.6. Please Add a “Download All” button in Existing Backups
As a user, I want to be able to download each backup with one click so that I don’t have to download Plugins, Themes, Uploads, Must-use plugins, and WordPress core separately.H,
