    Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded and started using incremental backups. We run a e-commerce store with products being listed daily and orders coming in frequently.

Would you recommend weekly backups with hourly increments or daily backups with hourly increments? Obviously daily would use more resources but as we run them at 2am in the morning it makes little difference and space is irrelevant. Would you recommend daily based on this? Or is weekly more than sufficient with the hourly increments?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It depends on how often you update your website. If the products are not changed frequently or every week, I would recommend weekly backups with hourly increments.

    Hi,

We are listing products every day and products are being sold everyday. So should I increase this to daily backups?

I wasn’t sure if it would make much difference as incremental backups are being taken every hour either way.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Yes, you could just keep the weekly backups as incremental backups are taken every hour.
That would also keep resource usage low.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
