I have a similar issue. Also on 5.5.1.

To help us with your issue, can you please describe the problem you are having?
If possible, please include:– What the symptoms of the issue are.
– When the problem occurred.
– Any Error or Warning messages that are output.If you have a relevant backup or restoration log available, could you attach a copy of that log?
These logs can be found either in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard, or in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site.Best Wishes,

Can you try to ask your host to increase your server I/O limit, maximum_execution_time and site memory?
The attempt a new restoration process and see if it is able to successfully run the restoration.Regards,

This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.

I have attempted a restore of the uploads.zip component and the restoration is stuck.
Are you able to check the I/O usage on your server and see if it has reached it resource limit?Regards,
