Restore only blogposts and uploaded images

Hello, I’m looking to run a backup of my existing WP site and then install a 100% fresh WP installation. Once WP is reinstalled, I’d like to restore blogposts and pages from my backup keeping the URL structure. Each blogpost has at least 1 image from uploads.

What’s the easiest way to achieve this? Please note I’m *not* looking restore any plugins or other settings, only looking to move the content.

Hi Franz,

You can use WordPress export/import function which can be found within the “Tools” tab. That will allow you to move posts and pages easily.

Yes but if I delete the old wordpress installation, the image paths are gone (as an example). Is it possible to use UpdraftPlus to copy the whole structure of those folders?
