Hi,
Upload to Dropbox worked fine until 20 Dec 2015. Now, auth returns a Server Error 500 with the message “/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus&action=updraftmethod-dropbox-auth&updraftplus_dropboxauth=doit. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”
Upload from another wordpress installation works fine.
Any ideas?
:)

Are you trying to authenticate a new site, or an existing site that has stopped working?
Server Error 500 indicates that there is an error on the server itself, but is otherwise a very general code. Could you contact your hosts/server admin, and ask them to investigate the server error logs? These will hold more information on specifics of the error.
Best Wishes,

an existing site has stopped working.
Thanks for pointing me to my hoster – he found:
[19-Jan-2016 08:30:36 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Dropbox_Exception in /home/www/NOTRELEVANT/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Dropbox/Exception.php on line 0It turns out that “Dropbox Photo Sideloader” was the reason. After deactivation, UpdraftPlus works again.
SOLVED, please fix.
Thanks again!
:)

Thanks for letting us know. Please can you report that to the makers of that plugin? They should be able to adapt their plugin so that it only runs code when needed (which wouldn’t include on the UpdraftPlus settings page, where UpdraftPlus wants to load its own code, leading to a clash).
