I am having the same basic problem as shariif55… when trying to restore the Uploads files I get timed out, the other files (Plugins, Themes, Other… have not gotten to Database yet) seem fine and restore with no problem. The Uploads file is the biggest of all of them though. I don’t know if this is an issue with the Updraft Plugin or on my server side (GoDaddy). Thanks for your help.

    Hi Tracy,

Please could you send us a copy of the restoration log?
This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

If you are not seeing any other errors, you can try restoring the Uploads manually. To do so, unzip the uploads backup file(s) on your local machine. Then, upload the unzipped contents to the ‘wp-content/uploads’ directory via FTP.

    Best Wishes,
    David N

I was able to get it to work by unpacking and ftp’ing the uploads files manually. Thanks for your help!
