    Hi,

I’m using Updraft at several sites, and the Scheduling addon at:

    – agsarchitects.net
    – heerlenstandby.nl

I’ve used the Migrator addon once, nearly 1 year ago, but don’t need it anymore.

In WordPress I get expiration messages, and advice to renew licenses. I’ve renewed one license (which in fact gives me a new license, instead of a new expiry date for an existing licens) but still get the expiration messages – at both sites.

So, here are my licenses for the Scheduling addon:

    Assigned: https://agsarchitects.net
    Update subscription expires: 2017-09-21.
    Assigned: https://www.heerlenstandby.nl
    Update subscription expires: 2018-03-28.
You have 1 available licence – learn how to activate it.
    Update subscription expires: 2018-08-04.

How can I get rid of the expiration messages in WordPress at both sites?

    Cheers,
    Marc

    Hi Marc,

Could you uninstall and reinstall UpdraftPlus from a fresh download (available here), then refresh the connection to your account?

This will clear out any unneeded add-ons and refresh the licence.

Followed the steps, but no improvement…

The situation right now: got a new UpdraftPlus installed (with the file from this link: https://updraftplus.com/wp-content/uploads/updraftplus.zip), which gives me version 2.13.5.1.

First, I get a message there’s a new version (2.13.5.2), but whatever I try, I cannot update. When I try to update, I get a message the update was successful, however when visiting the plugins page there’s still the old version active with a message to update to the new version.

Second, I still get the expiration message, and advice to renew licenses.

Loosely translated: The paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for add-ons 1 at this website has expired. To get access to updates again (including future functionality and compatibility with future WordPress versions) and support, please renew.

Really don’t get it; why is this so difficult?

There seem to be quite some issues regarding this subject by the way:

    Hi,

It appears that UpdraftPlus was picking up your expired Migrator license. I have now removed that license from your account.
(The last section of the version number refers to how many add-ons are installed)

Please could you refresh the connection to your account again?

    Best Wishes,
    David N

    Hi David,

For the website https://www.heerlenstandby.nl it seems to be solved now, thnx! :-D

However, the same issue still occurs at https://agsarchitects.net. I walked through the same steps, so deactivate plugin, delete plugin, download plugin from UpdraftPlus website, install plugin, activate plugin, and refresh connection. Still get the message: “Your paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for this site will soon expire. To retain your access, and maintain access to updates (including future features and compatibility with future WordPress releases) and support, please renew.”

    Hi Marc,

Please could you try to reconnect the plugin to UpdraftPlus.com by entering your username and password again using the ‘Premium/Extensions’ tab? After connecting the plugin, Updraftplus will prompt you to update the plugin to complete the install process.

Does the renewal message disappear now?

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

The renewal message seems to be disappeared at agsarchitects.net too, which is fine, thnx!

In my UpdraftPlus account however, I see there’s only 1 license for ‘Time and Scheduling’ assigned, that is a license for heerlenstandby.nl

A license for agsarchitects.net has not been assigned, as far as I can see…

    Is that a problem?

    Hi,

In the Premium/Extensions tab for agsarchitects.net, is there an ‘activate’ link in the Time & Scheduling section? If so, please click that link, and follow resulting update link.

    Best Wishes,
    David N

No, as far as I can see, there’s no activate link in the Time & Scheduling section: https://snag.gy/Naeg5w.jpg

Guess it’s already activated, since I’m using it: https://snag.gy/Vc1Bpv.jpg

    Hi,

It does appear that the add-on has been activated, but no license was assigned.

If possible, please could you try temporarily deactivating the other plugins on the site, then refresh the connection to your account? Does the ‘activate add-on’ link appear in this case?

    Best Wishes,
    David N

Hi David, thnx for the tip! I’ll try that at a moment when there won’t be a lot of visitors at the site.

    I’ll report back here…
