Unable to Migrate Site

Good day,

I have a clean installation of WordPress and would like to migrate my site from my test environment. I purchased the migrator plugin and it fails when trying to send. I get:

Unexpected response: Error: Empty response from remote site (empty_response). You should check that the remote site is online, not firewalled, does not have security modules that may be blocking access, has UpdraftPlus version 2.10.3 or later active and that the keys have been entered correctly.

Please help!

Hi,

An ’empty_response’ error indicates that the connection is being blocked. Could you (or your hosts) please check the firewall logs to confirm if this is the case?

Alternatively, you can use other methods to send your backups to another site as described in step 3 of our migration guide here: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-migrate-to-a-new-site-location/
