Do you develop websites, and do you have clients who can log in as admins?

If you do, then I’ll bet (from experience!) that sometimes they can’t resist hitting the “update’ button even whilst being entirely ignorant of issues like checking whether the new update is well-tested with their version of WordPress, or whether the new WordPress update has been tested with your theme, or whether the latest release of the plugin is just very problematic (like the current releases of NextGen Gallery!), etcetera. Boom – site down!

This is one situation where our auto-backup add-on is brilliant – because, by default, it’ll trigger a no-effort/no-click backup before your client’s crazy update. So, whatever they break, the backup is there and waiting for you to quickly restore it (whether automatically if the WP dashboard is still alive, or via a simple unzip or phpMyAdmin import if you have to do it by hand). You won’t have to go back to the previous week’s backups and re-do any work done in the mean-time.

If you are a developer, then your best bet is to get it as part of the developer package of UpdraftPlus Premium – because then it comes with unlimited installs, 1 year of support, and all other add-ons as well; all for one great price. Protect your precious time from dangerous clients today!
