We won’t repeat ourselves – we’ve announced the new features and improvements of this version before. For now, it’s just time to announce that UpdraftPlus 1.7.0 is released, and available for all free and premium users. Enjoy!
Update a few hours later: 1.7.1 is now released – if your web hosting company did not have the PHP zip module installed (a very tiny minority), then 1.7.0 would fail to create file backups. If you installed 1.7.0 and you have backups, then you don’t have this problem – but if in doubt, just upgrade. Other than this issue, we’ve so far had 3,000 downloads and no other reports of new problems.
