I was on the free updraft, fully updated. I am now subscribing, username douglwp order #139331.
I submitted a support request, Sunday 9 Jan, so no reply yet. This is an update with more info.
I pasted a Facebook tracking pixel script into my “about” page and updated. This apparently caused the page to be corrupted. Thinking to correct this, I tried to restore the site from the recent backup. The restore failed and I can not access the site now. The error messages that I recorded are:
(1) One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired. (2) I am supposed to change a file with: “define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);” Which I can not do.
Can you repair the site for me without simply replacing the whole site from the earlier backup? That would lose a lot of my work.
Can you replace the corrupted “about” page file by copying the page file from the earlier backup? I am not very techy.
Thanks
Doug
