    I develop sites locally on my machine before putting them on a test server. I usually run a back up at the end of the day that is supposed to be uploaded to Dropbox. This worked perfectly every time until the past week or so. Now when I try to make a back up, it fails nearly every time when it tries to upload to Dropbox. I am really at a loss as to why. All of my sites that are on live servers are not having this problem. I uploaded a copy of my log to Dropbox and you can access it at https://www.dropbox.com/s/rx1rtwmgtqswfbq/log.e17e4ecf83ff.txt?dl=0

    Hi Len,

    This matches a general issue with Dropbox that has been occurring over the past week.
    This appears to be a connectivity issue on Dropbox’s end, and should clear up in the next couple of days.

    In the meantime, UpdraftPlus should keep retrying until it is able to connect correctly. This may caused backups to take longer than usual however.

    David,

    Thanks for clearing up the issue. I appreciate the help.

    You are right that UpdraftPlus does keep retrying the upload, but sometimes it takes a while for it to make another upload attempt. I wish there was a way to force the upload to retry instead of waiting on it to do it itself.
