    Hi
After restoring a website from a different server and hosting provider, in the new hosting shows up an error: SET OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS = 1 It happens after hitting the button “search” (it is a real estate website with MDTF filters). Everything works just fine: only this error message shows up.

The new hosting provider suggests that maybe both MySQL databases (those from the sending and the receiving hostings) are of different versions). Could this be right? If so, and as suggestion, it could be nice if the plugin Backup/restore/Clone (the one I bought) warns about this potential error.

Is it there a way to fix it and stop getting the “Error en la base de datos de WordPress: [Unknown system variable ‘OPTION’]
SET OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS = 1″ ?Thanks for the advise

    Hi,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the migration log?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your new site location.
You can copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ ) and post the link here

    Hi
Here is the link to the log. It was not really a migration (could not connect both servers) but a backup (at the old server)->send to Dropbox>restore (from the new server).

    Hi,

Thank you. This doesn’t look like it’s related to UpdraftPlus; it looks like your new hosting provider’s MySQL server just isn’t set up to provide a feature that your site uses; see: https://indiestechtips.wordpress.com/2012/09/01/mysql-solve-the-error-related-to-sql_big_selects/
