In the latter part of 2015, Amazon introduced a new storage class option for their S3 storage cloud – “standard – infrequent access”; a storage class which can bring significant cost savings (as long as you can live with your data not be reachable 0.1% of the time – but with no loss in long-term redundancy of the backup).
We’re pleased to announce that the next release of UpdraftPlus Premium will support this storage class, alongside the existing “standard” option; i.e. you can now choose from each of these 2 classes.
