I am (now) a former user of BackUpBuddy. BUB worked, but not nearly as seamlessly as UpdraftPlus. I especially enjoy UDP’s ability to send backup files from one hosting provider to another. That said, I see myself more frequently downloading source site backup files to my PC, uploading them from PC to the target site and then restoring to the target site. Is there some way to download all required files in a single operation, rather than as separate download operations?

I’m afraid that there currently is not a way to download all the backup files in one operation.
I will add this to our list of suggested features, and we will look into adding it in the future.Best Wishes,
