    I have Updraft Plus installed on a client’s site. I had previously installed the free version, and set it to send the backup files to my Gmail account. Occasionally I had problems receiving the files (last year, I think) but it seemed okay lately.

    I reinstalled my Business Premium version to this client’s site just a couple of weeks or so ago, and since then have not been able to get the backup files emailed to my Gmail. I get a text file of the log file, and it reports that everything was backed up correctly.

    I’ve tried 3 times now and can’t get the backup files themselves. I tried deleting some of the other backups (after downloading them) thinking it might be a space issue, but no change. I don’t have FTP access to the site right now, so email has been the easiest way to do this.

    Can someone please help me figure out what the problems is?

    Hi Wendy,

    Could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? You can find this log in the Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.
    You can also set your reply to private.

    Thanks for your reply. Can I send you the file directly? It’s very small (35kb). That would be easier, I think.

    Hi Wendy,

    Could you open a ticket through our Customer Support Form? (The form displays on that page after selecting ‘search’)

    You can attach the log file through that form. Could you also include the URL for this thread?

    Hi David,

    I’ll reply here so that the answer is in the forum in case others have this problem.

    Before I reported my problem, I already had my email address in the Email Reports area and had checked the option to email the backup files. However, I tried deleting that and re-entering my email address and checking the option to mail the files and re-saved.

    This time it worked. So I guess somehow the previous setting got confused when I reinstalled Updraft Premium and only needed to delete the old email setting and re-enter it.
