    Hi there,

    I am running updraft on an OptimizePress/Wordpress website.
    Basically the two sites are nested, the main wordpress site and the Optimize member website that holds the membership functions.

    I was able to back up the main wordpress site to a staging area, but the backup is calling to the existing OptimizePress website and not a backup version.

    Please explain how I can back up both sites.

    Hi,

    Where is the Optimize directory located in relation to the WordPress installation?

    To backup the Optimize site, I would recommend using the ‘Any other file/directory on your server that you wish to back up’ option in the ‘Include in files backup’ settings. Set this to the directory where the Optimize site is located.

    If the Optimize site uses a database, you will also need to set the ‘Back up more databases’ settings to backup non-WordPress tables in the WordPress database, or add the external Optimize database to the backup.

    Please note that the More Files and external database backups need to be restored manually.
