Hello, I use the latest version and if I call the remove folder on dropbox I get the error 400.
What can be wrong?
Best regards, Peter
November 14, 2016 at 5:29 pm #180207Dee NutbourneModeratorHi Peter,
Please can you ensure that you are on version 2.12.25 of UpdraftPlus, and then re-authenticate with Dropbox?
Best Wishes,
David NNovember 14, 2016 at 10:17 pm #180275AndyParticipantWe are getting the same error on new installs.
We authenticate and can do a backup which gets transferred up but when you do a scan or remote storage we get “Dropbox: Dropbox returned an unexpected HTTP response: 400”
On another site we want to restore from drop box ..latest versions and authenticate but scanning remote store “Dropbox: Dropbox returned an unexpected HTTP response: 400”
both on different server types.. on on a dedicated server,so i can manipulate php or what ever you need.
sorts of means we cannot migrate any sites t the moment!!
when i do a rescan, this appears in access log:
tecknatest3.co.uk 217.44.100.130 – – [14/Nov/2016:22:16:08 +0000] “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=updraft_ajax&subaction=historystatus&nonce=d52b38fcc9&rescan=1&remotescan=1 HTTP/1.1” 200 12135 “https://www.tecknatest3.co.uk/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus&action=updraftmethod-dropbox-auth&state=(snip)%3D%3D&code=(snip)” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0”

Please can you confirm the exact/full version number of UpdraftPlus that shows on the UpdraftPlus settings page?

November 14, 2016 at 10:44 pm #180281AndyParticipantBackup and restore: take backups locally, or backup to Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, Rackspace, (S)FTP, WebDAV & email, on automatic schedules.

November 15, 2016 at 2:06 pm #180351RichardParticipantHaving the same issue with Dropbox 404 retrieving backups, what was the solution?
November 15, 2016 at 2:10 pm #180353Dee NutbourneModeratorHi Andy,
Please could you remove the UpdraftPlus App from your Dropbox account? This can be done through your Dropbox security settings (remove any UpdraftPlus app).
Then could you try re-authenticating again?
Best Wishes,
David NNovember 15, 2016 at 2:10 pm #180354AndyParticipantThere isnt yet. Ive given them two sandpit sites on differing servers, so hopefully that might help.
Dont upgrade older versions and dont re-auth.
Our sites are still backing UP to the cloud but getting a directory listing from the cloud isnt working.

November 15, 2016 at 2:13 pm #180355AndyParticipantDavid, not sure I can do that, have 160 sites linked to it.
Would that mean re-authing every site?
A
November 15, 2016 at 2:16 pm #180356AndyParticipantBecause of the change I have two linked:
UpdraftPlus.Com UpdraftPlus.Com – 5 sites
UpdraftPlus UpdraftPlus – 160 sites
I could try and remove the lesser?

November 15, 2016 at 2:24 pm #180358AndyParticipantok … removed updraftplus.com from dropbox (didnt remove updraft but they are separate on dropbox)
went to https://tecknatest9.co.uk and re-auth’ed , this added updraftplus.com back into dropbox
Still same problem, you can see on that account.
