I have renewed my license and entered the email [email protected] and password in the support tab, however, I still get the error at the top saying:

Your paid access to UpdraftPlus updates for this site has expired. You will no longer receive updates to UpdraftPlus. To regain access to updates (including future features and compatibility with future WordPress releases) and support, please renew.

    Hi Steve,

Apologies. It appears that your site was stuck on an expired licence.
I have removed this licence from your account. Please could you refresh the connection to your account?

    Best Wishes,
    David N

    Hi @Kermit, @Emilio,

Please could you let me know the method that you used to renew (e.g. via a renewal link emailed to you, manually via the shop with a coupon, etc)?

We have recently changed the pricing tiers for UpdraftPlus Premium. When renewing (as you have over 35 sites connected), you should have been shown a notice regarding this, and recommended the Enterprise package.

As you were not informed of the change at time of renewal, I have extended the unlimited license now.

    Best Wishes,
    David N

Via an email – here is what it showed. https://imgur.com/a/KY86Nw3 – and no, it doesn’t mention any license changes in the email or when I clicked on the renewal.

Keep in mind, I already had a purchased the tier for unlimited licenses – ethically (if not legally – as I can’t speak to that) it is wrong of your company to downgrade customers in that manner. I’ve renewed faithfully for two years now. Why did your company think it could make such a change?

How would you react if your internet provider sold you your internet connection with unlimited bandwidth (in writing) and then decided to change it one year so that your plan now only gave you the first 35gigs and you had to upgrade to a more expensive plan?

This is what you’re doing to your customers. You sold customers like myself an unlimited plan, then unilaterally changed it to a 35 user plan.

Apparently, we’re not going to get an answer on this. It’s my guess the accountants took over the company and they don’t really care that we purchased developer licenses for unlimited installs. It seems they’d rather try to sell to our clients instead of honoring their agreements with us.
