In default backup settings is item

Is safe left this out of backup files? Will restore rebuild my site completelly when I need?
For what case is need have this enabled and included in backup ?
Hi,
It is normally safe to leave the WP Core section out of the backup. Usually, no changes are made to the WordPress core files, so they can be restored from a fresh download.
The only time you need to backup the WP Core is if you have made changes to the core files, or have additional files/folders in the WordPress root.
