    Hi guys,

My backups are taking a lot of space on my local server. I got the dropbox integration to move my backups to a remote server so they dont take up anymore space on my local disk, but it still seems to be taking up space. what settings do i need to have in order for backups to not be kept on my local disk and only on dropbox?

    thanks,

    Arthur

    Hi Arthur,

You will need to select the ‘Delete local backup’ option to tell UpdraftPlus to delete the backup in your local server after the backups are successfully sent to your remote storage.

To do this, go to UpdraftPlus ‘Settings’ tab > ‘Show expert settings’ > select ‘Delete local backup’ and make sure to click the ‘Save Changes’ after.

    Kind Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi @sc4,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the Existing Backups tab.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin or Dropbox, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,

    Hi Sharon,

Please could you wipe your UpdraftPlus settings through the Advanced Tools tab, and then attempt to set up Dropbox again? You should be taken through the full process to authenticate.

    Best Wishes,
