Hello,
We have a multisite network that we would like to migrate. I followed the migration process according to the Updraft guide using the generated key. The migration was performed successfully to a test environment, but I only see a single site instead of the entire multisite network. Additionally, the domains still point to the original site rather than the test environment.
Could you please provide a detailed guide on how to properly migrate a complete multisite network using Updraft?
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,

We don’t have a separate guide as the process is the same as for a single site, can you confirm a couple of details.
-The URL’s of both sites
-The destination site is set up a a multisite before the migrationJanuary 23, 2025 at 9:57 am #2355160Martin PoslowskyParticipantHello Vanessa,
I followed the migration process exactly as suggested. However, after restoring the backup, the login is not working. There’s no error message, but every time I log in, the login page simply reloads.
Here are the URLs: The original multisite domain is wp1.omb.ag, and the test environment I migrated to is multisite1test.live-website.com.
I would like to note that I had already set up the multisite network in WordPress before installing the backup. Despite this, the issue persists.
Could you please clarify how I can verify or resolve this? Additionally, I want to ensure that all WordPress core files were properly migrated.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,

Essentially, I’m wondering if it’s feasible to convert the multisite backup into standalone WordPress installations for each site.
Could you please clarify how I can verify or resolve the login issue? And if splitting the backup is possible, could you provide guidance on how to achieve that?
Thank you in advance for your support!

multisite1test.live-website.com does not have a premium licence assigned and there fore does not have multisite support. This is the cause of your issues.
You current have your licences assigned to;
https://gruengold-ag-aktuelles.com
https://wp1.omb.agI can release the licence for https://gruengold-ag-aktuelles.com if you like?
You will need the multisite support on both sites. You cannot migrate a sub site out of a multisite with UpdraftPlus.
