    Hi -brand new user.
    Trying to get my backups to be sent to my AWS bucket. Using Access Keys. Have created a new key just for this process however, I keep getting this error message when testing the settings.

    S3 settings test result: Failure: Region: EU: We successfully accessed the bucket, but the attempt to create a file in it failed. Please check your access credentials. ([curl] 6: Could not resolve: m1reanna.s3.EU.amazonaws.com (Domain name not found) [url] https://m1reanna.s3.EU.amazonaws.com/kos_photo/8850f96dfa6571ae264f8d4cd1525976)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    When setting up the S3 settings, did you use the S3 setup wizard or custom credentials?

    Please could you send us a copy of your ‘S3 location’ setting?
    (You can set your reply as ‘private’)

    Hi,

    Please could you try using the setup wizard? This will setup a dedicated user for the backups, with the correct permissions.

    For the screenshot, you can use an online service such as snag.gy to upload the image, and post the link here.
    Alternatively, you can open a support ticket and attach the image. Ask for the ticket to be assigned to ‘David N’, and it will be added to my queue.

    Thanks for the reply David. I am going to open a ticket and send you some screenshots. I believe that I should be able to access the bucket and path using the admin level Access keys. The fact that its not working is raising a red flag to me. See you on the other side!
