    Hi,
I have now tried twice to migrate from a subdomain to my root domain and both times it has failed. When it fails I can no longer access my WordPress install.

    I get this error:

Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: Permission denied in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/var/sites/s/sandbox.pixelsink.com/public_html/pixelsink/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/newage/lib/php’) in Unknown on line 0

I had deactivated and uninstalled Wordfence before I made the backup which I am using for the migration. I am migrating to a fresh WordPress install.

I have to keep contacting my web host company to put a clean install of WordPress onto my root domain every time this fails to migrate :(

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Col

    I’ve managed to fix it.

I found a file called .user.ini that had Wordfence information in it. I deleted that file and got access to my site and the migration has worked :)
