Hello,
I purchased UpdraftPlus Premium, installed it and setup a byweekly automated backup for a site I manage. Everything went very smoothly. I love your plugin.
Now, I want to add a couple of server directories to the backup and I do no see any ways of adding additional directories to the existing backup configuration??
I am totally puzzled since the UpdraftPlus Premium plugin is so well designed, I thought there must be a simple way to just add two additional directories to next scheduled backup….?
Is there a way to do this?
If so, how to I add a few additional server directories to an existing backup configuration??
If not, does it mean I have to deactivate the plugin, reactivate it and reconfigure the backups from scratch???Please help
Thank you
Jacques

To be able to do that go to UpdraftPlus ‘Settings’ tab > ‘Include in files backups’ > select ‘Any other file/directory on your server that you wish to back up’ and click on the ‘Add directory’ link. It will then allow you to select any folder within your server to include in your backup.
Kind Regards,

I go to the Settings Tab and I do not find ‘Include in files backups’ > select ‘Any other file/directory” as per your description….?
I see:
> Files backup schedule:
> Database backup schedule:
> A long list of remote storage options. That is it.
What am I missing??
I was going to include a screen capture of my Settings Tab and I do not see a way for me to share that file with you.Thank you for your help Bryle

Had one thought: is it possible that the “Back-up more files” add-on to Updraft Plus
is not activated??
I tried activating all the Add-ons at least twice and they do not seem to be available.???March 1, 2018 at 6:31 pm #264930jsaprielParticipantOK Bryle,
Just to be sure, I purchased the “Backup more files” add-on.
Then I tried to activate it, following the instructions provided.
And nothing…..??
Nothing I do seems to activate that add-on.Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for the late response.
Can you please send me a screenshot of the UpdraftPlus ‘Settings’ tab please?
You can use this online tool – https://snag.gy/Kind Regards,

Thank you for sharing the link to snag.gy. Great tool
I wanted to share a screen capture of the Settings Tab with you and I could not find a way to upload an image file to you. Snag.gy is the solution to that issue.
Here is the link to the Settings Tab image capture: https://snag.gy/ZaC4f5.jpgOne thing: I concluded that I just have the Updraft Plus plugin and not the Updraft Plus Premium as I initially thought. So, earlier this week, I bought the “Back up more files” extension for $15. I have tried everything I could think of to install that extension and, so far it has not shown up anywhere on my site….??
Of course, it is possible that I misinterpreted the extension installation instructions which I found were rather cryptic.
Thank you for your help.Jacques

Apologies for the delay.
From your screenshot, it appears that the full UpdraftPlus Premium plugin is installed on the site.
The option to add more directories to the backup should be found below the remote storage settings in the Settings tab, in the ‘Include in files backup’ options.
As you may have purchased an add-on that you didn’t need, please could you also open a support ticket here: https://updraftplus.com/paid-support-requests/
We can then process a refund if needed (I’m afraid that we can’t process refunds from the forums)
Best Wishes,
