I’m attempting to back up my site prior to being migrated to an https: compatible server tomorrow. Ironically, I cannot back the site up due to this issue. Is there a workaround? This is the error message:

A key was created, but the attempt to register it with UpdraftPlus.Com was unsuccessful – please try again later. cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
    error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed (http_request_failed)

    Hi,

Could you check if the ‘Do not verify SSL certificates:’ option is ticked? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus ‘Settings’ tab > ‘Show Expert’ settings? Also, ‘Use the server’s SSL certificates:’ and ‘Disable SSL entirely where possible:’ should not be ticked if you have an http only site.

    Regards,
    Bryle

Thank you. Now I’m getting this error:
Updraft Vault Error: Failed to access bucket updraftvault-us-west-2. Check your permissions and credentials.1 The authorization header is malformed; the region ‘us-east-1’ is wrong; expecting ‘us-west-2’

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

This error is usually caused by and incorrect email or password in the UpdraftVault settings. Please could you reconnect to your Vault account?

Please could you also ensure that the ‘Disable SSL entirely where possible: option is not enabled.

    Best Wishes,
    David N
