Hi and thank you for the wonderful plugin.

After updating to Updraft Version 2.16.1.24, the backend/wp-admin of my client’s site unexpectedly stopped working, giving a 500 response.

I’ve narrowed it down to UDP, by deactivating each plugin one by one. We currently have WordPress 5.0.2 installed, and are hosted with GoDaddy. While I’m working on getting the relevant log files from GoDaddy (isn’t shared hosting great?) so that I can track down the specific error, I know that the most recent update was relatively major update with the new functionalities. Have the PHP requirements changed in this version, or, with the very limited information I’m able to provide, is there any information you might be able to provide as to why this update would cause the WP backend to stop working?

I’ll be in touch when I get more information from GoDaddy.

    Thanks for your help!
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Yes, please contact your hosts/server admin and ask them to check the PHP error logs. The logs should contain further information on the exact error that is occurring.

    Regards,
    Bryle
