Updraftplus does not use the language choice defined in the administrator profile, but only the one of the website. So, if the website is in Spanish and the administration in English, Updraftplus is in Spanish language instead of English. how to change that?
    Thanks

    Hi,

Do you have any caching plugins? Can you try to clear cache see if it updates the page?

Already did. The problem is not about cache, it’s about site langage and user langage. Updraftplus use site langage as primary, not user langage.

    Hi Jean-Marc,

Yes, I’m afraid UpdraftPlus uses the “Site Language” under General settings.

Thanks for your answer, but admin Language is independent of the site’s front-end language (since 2016) and it is obvious that users do not need updraftplus functions. In fact it concerns 2 lines of code … do you think it is possible to do something, even tell me where to change that.

    Thanks

I am facing the same issue. As every other plugin Updraft should follow the language specified in each user’s profile and not the site’s default language. Right now this is the only plugin i am facing this issue with, surprised it never came up before.

Hi Bryle, You just have to use get_user_locale() instead of site_language …
