Hi,
Little bit of an odd problem has recently popped up.I have about 80 sites that I backup to DropBox. Everything’s been working fine. But the last couple of days, I had to restore the DB’s of a couple of sites. When I did this – suddenly on the WP backend of those individual sites – it listed ALL of my backups of ALL my sites, rather than just the backups for that individual site. Somehow it is pulling a list of every site backup (from DropBox?). So instead of showing, say, 2 backups – it shows over 100 backups. This has never happened before.
Please advise…
thanks,
Dave

Apologies for the confusion.
You actually need to store each website backup in a separate Dropbox sub-folder. For you to be able to do this, you will need the Dropbox sub-folder add-on.
Also, all of our add-ons licenses (excluding the Migrator) are valid for one site only. To be able to use them on multiple sites you will need to purchase a number of licences equal to your number of sites.
Alternatively, UpdraftPlus Premium (which bundles all add-ons) is available in packages consisting of 2, 10 or unlimited site licences. This is often a much better deal when going for more than a couple of sites.
Best wishes,

Thanks for the reply.
I understand what you are saying on the DropBox side of things, but it’s only recently that this has started happening on the website side of things. To be clear…
…in DropBox – all my are sites backed up to a single folder. I expect this as I don’t currently have the sub-folder add-on.
However – in my website Dashboards (until recently) Updraft’s “Existing Backups” would only show a list of THAT site’s backups.
But now – my website’s dashboards are showing a list of ALL the sites that are in DropBox. This is new behavior. So in other words – if I go to the dashboard for http://www.websiteone.com – instead of just showing the backups for websiteone.com – I have a list of (currently) 65 backups (for websiteone AND 64 other sites). And since they aren’t named (they just show a backup date) I don’t what belongs to what – which makes that list virtually useless (I can, of course go to DropBox where they have names, but that’s a series of extra, previously unnecessary steps).
So I guess what I’m asking is:
A) Is this purposely new behavior, or…
B) is this a glitch that I can (hopefully) fixThanks…

It is not a new behaviour. It is a feature of UpdraftPlus used for restoring or migrating sites.
Sometimes, the backup list does not get automatically updated. The rescan remote storage/local link is there to update the backup list.Regards,
