Hi,
I’m using Updraft Plus to create a backup of a Multisite.
I just finished creating the backup and downloading the files. I noticed, though, that two files got generated for “Uploads”: “uploads” and “uploads (2)”. Since this is my first time using the plugin and it’s very important for me to get an accurate backup of the site I’m working on, I just wanted to make sure that this is normal. I assume that two files were created on account of having a large filesize for the Uploads– and want to make sure that Updraft will properly accept the two ‘uploads’ .zips should I need to restore this backup in the future.

Yes, that’s normal, and no problem with restoring. You can set the size at which the split occurs in the expert settings at the bottom of the ‘Settings’ tab (though I recommended leaving it at the default unless the backup is failing).

Hi, newbie here. WHen my uploads are backed up it is broken into three files. No problem restoring 1 & 2, but restore just goes grey with the third. When i examine the uploads file in the NEW site, there are no files at all from the backup of the old server. Can you help me out here? I bought the add on specifically to test different server speeds.
Please can you send a link to a screenshot of the “just goes grey”, so that I can understand that better? Use https://snag.gy if it helps.
Also, a link to the restoration log file would help (you can find it in wp-content/updraft via FTP, on the destination site).
