Automatic Schedule Management

Hey There

I run several sites on my own server.

I have a feeling that because I’ve imported the backup schedule and times to multiple sites that when the backup is executed, my sites crash – which is happening.

Is there a script or addon where all websites connected to my Premium Updraft account would manage the backup schedule to prevent overload from happening?

Hi,

I’m afraid that we do not currently have a tool for managing the backup schedules for multiple sites in the manner described.

However, UpdraftPlus Premium allows you to set the time of the scheduled backups. I would recommend setting each site to perform the backup at a different point in the day.

If you need to manage a large number of sites, I would recommend looking into UpdraftCentral, our WordPress management tool.
I will also make a note to look into a centralised scheduling feature for UpdraftCentral.
