Backing up and working at the same time

Hi

Is it possible to continue working on a wp site during the running of a backup process
or is it better to stop and wait till backup is finished?

Example: I am editing a post or side or even making css corrections – what will happen with this during backup process?

Hi Dieter,

It’s fine to work at the same time. At what point the backup will reach the particular database table that your edited post will be in is unpredictable though – so you can’t rely upon your edits either making it, or not making it, into the backup.
