Backup doesn't finish

I am having trouble with updraft on one of my websites. It seems to stick while running the backup and never finishes it. I’m not sure what is causing the issue.

UpDraft Plus version 2.11.15.21

Hi,

It appears to crash immediately upon beginning to talk to Google. This suggests a conflict with another plugin – probably another plugin is interfering. I notice that your backups were working until Nov 11. What plugins have you updated since then?

Actually, if you were able to share the “plugins” backup zips from the first “not finished” backup, and the one immediately before (i.e. the last that did finish), then I could then compare them and find the culprit (probably!). e.g. Share via a Google Drive or Dropbox shared link.

If you de-activate the plugin “Google Calendar Events”, and then attempt a backup to Google Drive, then does it then succeed?

Yep. That solved the problem! Thanks! I don’t even need that plugin so I’ll just leave it disabled.

Thank you! We’ve just released a new UpdraftPlus version which resolves the conflict. So, feel free to update and re-activate the calendar plugin if you need to.
