Backup – Not Finished

    Hello,
    I have had multiple failed attempts at trying to fully backup my site with the paid plugin. I tried linking it to my FTP and instead of Dropbox and the same issues is occurring. When reviewing the files via FTP one backup shows that the uploads folder isn’t a zip folder and another attempt shows the plugins folder isn’t a zip as they were in previous backups.

    Please let me know how to resolve this.

    Hi Nicolas,

    Please can you link to a copy of the backup log file from a problematic backup, so that we can take a look?

    Also, when you say that the backup “wasn’t a zip file”, how did you determine this? What was it? Can you send screenshots?

    I used my FTP program to see if the files were being “zipped” and it shows there is a “Temp” at the end of the file.

    Hi,

    From the log, it appears that something is killing off the binary zipping process.

    Could you try adding the following line to your wp-config (near the top), and trying a fresh backup:
    define('UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP', true);
