    im getting this error
2833.670 (7) The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature). List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).

we manage our own server, the account has unlimited disk quota and the disk is only at 22% used.

to clarify we are trying to push a migration / clone backup to another server.

    Hi,

From the log, it appears that there is not enough room in your hosting account to perform the backup.

Your Uploads directory is 9520.8Mb, and the account appear to reach capacity part way through this. You will need to clear out some space on your hosting account (or increase the available space). You will also need to delete the failed backup files, either through UpdraftPlus or FTP.

UpdraftPlus needs to write the backups to the server before it is able to transfer them. As such, there needs to be enough space available to write the backup files. In the case of Uploads, where the content may not compress much, this could mean you need at least the same amount of space again as for the original files themselves

Thats the thing, normal backups work fine. the clone / migrate option is what gets this error.
the cpanel account is set to unlimited space. the actual disk has over 500g free space.
what does this process look at to determine disk space availability?
Ill have our admin look at server setting to see if there is some sort of false positive on disk space reporting.
