Can't Login to the restored site

Trying to get a live site to work locally has been nothing but a pain.

I’ve gotten to the point of relogging into the backend on my local device after “restoring” (which I’m not even sure worked, there was no “I worked!” message). I tried logging in with my current live site logins but I can’t seem to log in.

About to give up and get my money back.

None of my logins are working and I can’t create new login. clearly something went wrong but I have no clue what. I’m not a techie.

I’m looking at the local db and it doesnt’ seem to contain any transferred data.

I’ve tried it again. The only logs I was able to retrieve is the first restore (all but DB). Then I restored the DB only to not be able to log in again. I was hoping to do more today.

Hi Anthony,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the restoration log?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file as an attachment or copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

Hi,

Apologies for the delay.

The log is a backup log, rather than the restoration log. Please could you send us any other logs from around the time of the restoration.

You can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin to upload the contents, and post the links here.
